  2005

November 2005  was the time for honeymoons #3 and #4.  We were part of a tour to Turkey and Greece xxxx  That included Ephesus, a really large city at one time on the coast of Turkey.  This was followed by visiting the places in Greece where the Apostle Paul visited on his 3^rd missionary journey.  In Athens, of course, we visited the acropolis and the classical structures that surround it.  This concluded the tour with our friends, who flew home. Jim and Eloise had different plans.....sailing in the Saronic sea south of Athens in a chartered sailing yacht. We also hired a skipper, Yann, who was also a wonderful guide and friend.  Both of us had tours of being at the helm, but Jim got the heavy duty just as we left Athens.  We had 25 knot wind and seas over 4 feet high!  3 hours of guiding the boat heeled over about 20 degrees and being bounced around by the seas was enough to get him really tired!  The sailing was a wonderful experience, and we think we shall try that again.   Jim & Eloise

we had a GREAT cruise! our boat was great, our skipper gianmarco was so super.  even though we learned upon arrival that we needed to work with anotehr company and have a different boat, everything went very smoothly and all of the people at your company were very nice and helpful.   we will definitely contact you for our next cruise.  (and as a new yorker, i admit that i'm not easily impressed with service, so you should be extra pleased to hear how pleased i was with your service and company!)

Hi Yann & Servanne,  Sorry for not replying sooner. We had a great week aboard Odysseus with Googi. We were very lucky with the weather and as first timers there wasn't too much wind... just enough to make us feel that we are sailing. And also with Googi who was a great person to talk to and some one with whom we felt comfortable and secure. XXXX  These are small points... overall however, we had a great time.  Your swift replies to my questions was a great comfort esp as I found your website through the internet ... without a recommendation from a friend.  It made me feel that you were there.. sorting things out and not a faceless person at the other end of a computer. Thank you very much for your help with organizing this wonderful trip. Everything was really nice (and this time we had even been lucky with the weather). The crew was perfectly trained, and we want to underline the quality of food that was cooked by the hostess (she deserves a micelin star, by the way) The only thing that was a little bit irritating was the quality of music (sound systems etc.), because it seemed to us, that it was very cheap, so we couldn't listen to our favorite Cafe del mar cd's with a satisfying sound. But the rest was really perfect, thank you very much again
